Free West Papua Campaign is about to launch the Global Flag Raising Day which will be held on 1st December 2015.This date marks exactly 54 years to the day since the West Papuan flag
(the Morning Star) was first raised, with the promise of full freedom
and Independence in exactly 9 years time. Indonesia has tried to destroy this vision by illegally occupying West
Papua, killing over half a million people and banning the West Papuan
flag but the world will NOT be silent.
Every year on 1st December, the West Papuan flag is raised right around the world in solidarity with the West Papuan people and the ongoing struggle for freedom. Please do join this global day and raise the West Papuan flag on 1st December.
