The Lefkanti Mapudungun Mew held today in the city of Temuco (Chile) has been a success. The Mapuche Federation of Students (FEMAE) and the Movement for the Officiality of the Mapuche Language brought together 1,500 people to rally back to the official language of Wallmapu. Isabel Canet Caniulen, Danko Mariman and Alberto Huenchumilla, spoke in the name of the Movement for the Officiality of the Mapuche Languagewhich have led the protest attended by delegations of other indigenous nations of South America.
