Since September 12, no less than 25 Kabyle prisoners of opinion and politics have begun a hunger strike to protest against their arbitrary imprisonment and the flagrant delay in scheduling their trial. Several of them have accumulated 12 months of detention without judgment. This is the case of the militant Razik Zouaoui and the journalist Mohamed Mouloudj, whose health has seriously deteriorated due to this hunger strike. Knowing the criminal nature of the Algerian regime, friends and relatives of the strikers are calling on them to cease this strike to preserve their lives.
