Reformation faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-R) welcomed different Naga Political Groups (NPGs) member from Isak-Muivah faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-IM) ), Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland (GPRN)/ National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN), Khaplang faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-K) and Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) who have recently joined its fold under the collective leadership of NSCN-R ‘president’ Y. Wangtin Naga and 'ato kilonser' P. Tikhak, reports The Nagaland Post on March 6. In a press release, NSCN-R 'Ministry of Information & Publicity (MIP)' identified the “home comers” as, ‘major’ Nowang Konyak, ‘captain.’ Joshua Angami, ‘2nd Lieutenant’ Akholie Angami, ‘2nd Lieutenant’ Tieso Angami, ‘2nd Lieutenant’ Awang Konyak, ‘Sergeant Major’ Mankho Konyak, ‘Sergeant Major’ Achi Konyak, ‘Sergeant Major’ Anyem Konyak and ‘Sergeant’ Aton Konyak all from NSCN-IM.
NSCN-R MIP claimed that the “home comers” have stated that, they have “lost their confidence with their respective leaders and reposed their faith and confidence under the “visionary and dynamic leadership” of Y. Wangtin Naga and P. Tikhak who always strife and lead the Nagas and its future with a positive attitude toward the cause of the Naga Nation”. Further, NSCN-R has expressed gratitude to the “home comers” for their “bold and wise decision” in the right time in order to determine the future of the Naga people and Nation as well.
