Papuans continue rallies to reject the plan by Indonesia to create 5 new provinces which is death trap for Papuans dividing West Papua. Papuans are already marginalised on their own land. This plan will erase Papuans off their land.
By other way Toni Tabuni, 24, was shot dead by the Indonesian military and was taken to Sriwiny General Hospital, Nabire and Kais Tabuni, 25, werearrested by Nabire Police. TPNPB Spokesperson, Sebby Sambom, has not yet confirmed if Toni Tabuni, who was was shot dead by Indonesia military on 30 March 2022 in Nabire, West Papua, is a civilian or member of the West Papua National Liberation Army (TPNPB-OPM).
Finally in a rare move the Chief of General Staff of the National Command TPNPB/WPNLA Major General Terianus Satto appeared in a video with his troops. Satto gave a statement of attitude delivered by together with the Commander of the Defense Region XV TPNPB Ngalum Kupel Mr. Brigadier General Lamekh Taplo and his troops.
