The Kanak and Socialist National Liberation Front (Front de Libération Nationale Kanak et Socialiste, FLNKS) held its convention this Saturday July 18th in Dumbéa. The main object of this meeting was the political project of the FLNKS and the adoption of the strategy and the ordering of battle for the campaign for the Yes in the referendum of October 4. The front gathered its activists to take stock of the progress of three working groups. One worked on the political project, the second on informing the state in the event of a yes vote and the last on the strategy to be deployed for the October 4 consultation.
In his opening speech, FLNKS spokesperson Aloisio Sako set the tone for the day and the months to come: "Let us have confidence in ourselves, victory is within our reach" said Aloisio Sako.
