Cabinda's guerrilla captures five Angolan soldiers

Frente para a Libertação do Enclave de Cabinda-Forças Armadas Cabindesas (FLEC-FAC)  makes public the existence of five (5) soldiers from the Angolan army in the custody of the army of the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to information from its communication department, FLEC-FAC clarifies the circumstances of its capture in the woods of the village of Kayi Nsitu, sector of Kakongo, Central Congo.

After the incursions of the Angolan army into the territory of Democratic Congo and close to the border villages, there were armed clashes, causing injuries, deaths and some were lost in the region's immense forest.

FLEC-FAC reports the death of a Major in the Angolan army, better known as Batalha, who unfortunately did not resist his injuries and eventually died on the way.

Days after the clashes, the Congolese population found one dead and buried by them and two other bodies found by the army of Democratic Congo.

From patrolling in the forest by the Democratic Congo's army, it found five Angolan military personnel lost in the forest and were captured.

The same source says that they were conducted at Army Headquarters in Matadi, capital of the province of Central Congo, without further details.
